Today i was back to the Dull enriched photolab enviroment. (I must say that i was quite tired. Dont know why. i have just over 8hrs of sleep)
Story of the day:
A young girl had come in to develope some photographs she had taken over the weekend. her mom was SOO proud of her. Apparently she had went to a gathering with over 7,000 people. When i first heard that i told the mom "that's great she went to a gathering with that many people" "must have been for a good case" i thought seeing that the young girl had to be atleast 11yrs old.
After a few hours her prints were developed and i was shocked to see the results. The gathering the young girl had been in was a HUGE protest for Prop 8. The pictures i saw were abit saddening to me. Everyone seemed to be hateful/angery/bitter, and worst of all they were daming the name of God. I was shocked to say the least. I thought to myself, this young girl is fighting for something that she believes in, and yet doenst stand for?? Maybe a relative of hers is homosexual and is going through this termoil???
I sat back at work and really thought about all that was going on since the Nov 4th election.
So far, i dont quite understand the reaction to Prop 8 being past. Most gay couples seemed happy YEARS ago finally coming out and saying that they have a "Life partner" tons of gay couples to this day adopt children of thier own to start a family. Is all this chaos because they want the same benifits as married couples??
The way i see it...these "protests" are just showing the negative side of this whole ordeal. With signs of HATE, and disrespect.
God ment for all this to happen. "Man with Woman" And the fact that the law was passed proves that God still and WILL always have the last word in the matter.
I feel bad for those who protest against God. Not only the people in these lastest prop8 protests, but any that comes against God. Biggest example of challenging God or coming against him was the 1920's sinking of Titanic. The creator of the massive ship would always tell the press...."The Titanic is the greatest...NOT EVEN GOD HIM SHELF CAN SINK OUR SHIP, we would like to see him try." ...and we all know what happened there.
